Greetings! As we all know, life doesn't always happen the way we want it to. We are currently taking care of my granddaughter, and she has been anxious to go back home and visit people from her hometown. It's quite the bum when you think something is going to happen, and then lo and behold, let a winterstorm come through; it can kill plans quickly. But I must say, she's taking it well. I'm not so sure I would even be doing as good, waiting...getting excited to do something, and then..."No, not today, not going to happen, sorry about your luck!" This is one of those lessons in life, that maybe is hard to swallow. We can plan, plan, plan, but if it's not meant to be, then we have to take it as it comes. It doesn't mean that we shouldn't plan, but it means that life doesn't always go the way we think.
Which brings up a good point, God and prayer. Our family, each and everyday seeks God's provision, His love, and His guidance. Sometimes life goes into a different direction. We don't always know the reason why, but as believers, we have to believe that God is the one in control. Tommorrow is a new day. Have you ever thought about the what ifs..."What if we would've put her on that bus?" Someday we might be shown the what ifs, and the only response might be, "Thank you Jesus!"
